Consulting Unit Manager in Cybersecurity

Your role as Consulting Unit Manager at Intelligence & Response

Our unit is growing and we are now seeking a driven leader to further develop our unit within Incident Response and Threat Intelligence. Within the cybersecurity area at Combitech, we have nearly 300 employees working with our clients in the Nordics and internationally. The current unit is a central part of our cybersecurity division and works with two main areas: Incident Response and Threat Intelligence.

In Incident Response, we handle technical investigations, IT forensics, malware analysis, and unforeseen events to effectively support our clients during cyberattacks. In Threat Intelligence, we provide our clients with alerts and updates about relevant threat actors through extensive information gathering from both open and closed sources.

We are looking for someone who wants to lead and further develop our unit together with an engaged and competent team. As a Consulting Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading the unit in Stockholm/Norr, focusing on planning, staffing, and developing the team in close collaboration with managerial colleagues. Since the team is geographically dispersed, much of your leadership will take place remotely. The role also includes recruiting new employees to the team and ensuring the unit's development and profitability.

In your role, you will also work on consulting assignments with clients alongside others in the unit, so it is important that you have extensive experience in the field. You will lead the group through these projects and have significant client contact. You will participate in procurement and proposal work, as well as create conditions for delivering secure and effective solutions to our clients. You will have a combined role where you are both a leader and an active consultant, which gives you a close connection to the business and the team's everyday life. The most important part of your work is to ensure that your employees thrive, are engaged, and have access to the right methodology, technology, and professional development.

You will be part of the management team for Intelligence & Response, where you contribute to the unit's development and the further development of our Cyber Defense Center offering.

Who are you?

We believe you have extensive experience and a solid understanding of investigations and IT forensic aspects as well as technical intelligence work. Perhaps you are looking for a leadership role where you can contribute with a holistic perspective in the field. We value experience from various technologies and industries. Knowledge of tools and frameworks such as ISO-27037, MITRE, KSF, TIBER, and NIST is preferred. Previous leadership experience, such as team lead, is also desirable.
